Buff
Faster Run status icon.png
You have increased Movement Speed

Faster Run is a buff.

First version

The first version of this buff is granted by using the Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Smoke Mine" skill.

This version grants increased movement speed (the stat id behind is "base_movement_velocity_+%").

Players can also gain this buff indirectly via stealing (via HH, etc.) the monster mod Shroud Walking (also known as "Ambushes" the textbox that under monster nameplate), which is a rare monster-only mod. The mod automatically and periodically use Smoke Mine skill (monster version; internal id: NemesisDaemonSmokeMine)

Unique monsters may also having this buff by using their own version of Smoke Mine skill, such as Wiraqucha, Ancient Guardian's MonsterSmokeMineSideArea, or Orcus the Reaver/The Broken Prince's MonsterSmokeMine. Note that Warband monsters' WbSmokeMine, does not grant this buff.

Second version

Increased movement velocity

There is a second version of this buff but have different status icon.[1] The source of this version is not yet confirmed. That status icon is also similar to Tarred Ground or the flask effect icon from the suffix mod #% increased Movement Speed during Flask effect, or the skill icon of Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Phase Run", or the buff from Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Victario's Flight".

Despite it has different graphical icon and descriptive text on the stat, this version also grants the same stat id: "base_movement_velocity_+%".

Version history

Before the removal of archnemesis mod and nemesis mod from spawning on the monsters, players can also gain this buff indirectly via stealing Shroud Walker nemesis mod from the monsters. However, that mod is a legacy mod and partially reworked as "Assassin" archnemesis mod in version 3.17.0 (went core and replaced old monster mod in version 3.18.0 as a prefix known as "Deadly", but still displayed under the monster nameplate as Assassin) which also became legacy in version 3.20.0.

Version Changes
3.20.0
  • Archnemesis version is removed from the game. Monster mod now only have one function per mod, which this buff is granted to monster from new mod "Ambushes"
3.18.0
  • Nemesis version is removed from spawning and replaced by archnemesis version.
3.11.0
  • Faster Run buff from alternative quality Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Smoke Mine" also grant increased Attack and Cast Speed.
1.0.0
  • Monster version (Nemesis) is added to the game.
0.11.6
  • Added to the game? (wiki editor note: the actual date is not known, but assume to be the same as Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Smoke Mine" gem)
