The landscape twists before your eyes, morphing into realms of unspeakable horror.

Twist of Fate is an atlas passive skill and Atlas keystone that causes any Corrupted Rare maps used in affected Map Devices and any Map crafting options applying to them to be modified unpredictably when opened, with Maps modified in this way having 1-3 additional random Map Modifiers.

Mechanics

The resulting map can be any valid map of the same tier based on the player's current Atlas of Worlds modified by socketed Voidstones. If there are no valid maps on the player's current Atlas, it will result in a random map of the same natural tier.

Map crafting options will still consume one stored use or require their crafting cost prior to the randomization.

Map fragments are not randomized with this keystone.

Implicit Map Modifiers are not modified, meaning that guaranteed encounter implicits (e.g. from Kirac's Shop or Shadow Shaping), Elder Guardian/Conquerors maps, or Vaal Temple MapVaal Temple MapMap Level: 83

Area contains 10 additional guarded Vaal VesselsVoices. Visions. Violence.
They will haunt these grounds for all of eternity.
Travel to this Map by using it in a personal Map Device. Maps can only be used once.
's "Area contains 10 additional guarded Vaal Vessels" modifiers can be guaranteed regardless of the new map base. Delirium Layers and Enchantments are also retained. Shaper Guardian maps will be rerolled into random t16 maps.

Twist of Fate can also randomize corrupted blighted maps and blight-ravaged maps, which may be useful to salvage these types of maps with bad modifiers like Monsters cannot be Stunned or Monsters' Action Speed cannot be modified to below base value. It will not change the map's oil anointments.

Location

Twist of Fate is located at the center left of the atlas passive skill tree, near the "Delirium" wheel.
