List of support gems in item box

Do we really need to include a list of all support gems in the item box? —Vini (t|c) 20:53, 12 March 2020 (UTC)

If we want the item to be picked up by all our various item tables we do. The list is supposed to be collapsed anyway so it shouldn't be a problem. Could look a little better though with the text being centered and a little less intrusive [Expand]-button I suppose. There's some risk in hitting the template size limits on other query pages but I think it's worth it, as otherwise we have to add them manually to our query tables which kind of defeats the purpose of them. --Illviljan (talk) 04:49, 13 March 2020 (UTC)
I am not sure but i assume the ring accept all support gem ? Then using Template:See also to link to List of support skill gems seem sufficient. Neokowloon (talk) 12:20, 13 March 2020 (UTC)
And instead no need to list the additional mods in infobox, since they does not drop naturally with those mod. Neokowloon (talk) 12:45, 13 March 2020 (UTC)
It's still a unique item that's very related to support gems. We have those types of unique item tables everywhere, example in Added Fire Damage SupportAdded Fire Damage SupportFire, Physical, Support
Icon: F
Level: (1-20)
Cost & Reservation Multiplier: 120%
Requires Level 8Supports any skill that hits enemies.Supported Skills gain (25-39)% of Physical Damage as Extra Fire Damage

Additional Effects From 1-20% Quality:
Supported Skills deal (0.5-10)% increased Fire Damage
This is a Support Gem. It does not grant a bonus to your character, but to skills in sockets connected to it. Place into an item socket connected to a socket containing the Skill Gem you wish to augment. Right click to remove from a socket.
, and if it wasn't showing in those someone would add it there manually (granted there's a great synergy) which would then defeat the point of our query tables. --Illviljan (talk) 16:09, 13 March 2020 (UTC)
Oh I see. This allows The Hungry Loop to appear automatically in tables of unique items related to support gems. That's certainly a good thing. Is there a way we can prevent the list from being displayed in the item box though? It doesn't serve much of a purpose there. —Vini (t|c) 16:16, 13 March 2020 (UTC)
Or may be edit the wording in para "explicit2_text", to indicate these mod only appear when consumed gem. Neokowloon (talk) 16:43, 13 March 2020 (UTC)
Improving the explicit text is a fine idea I think. I found an example where this item breaks other templates, Elemental proliferation. Template include size is too large. How to fix this? Finding and showing only the relevant stat text is one way but I don't think that will be trivial to do.--Illviljan (talk) 05:45, 16 March 2020 (UTC)
So maybe you should just hide the list? The item will be displayed on the pages, but without a list . Is this even possible?--Ruba159753 (talk) 06:53, 16 March 2020 (UTC)

I think template overflow may caused by other source. Unnerve#Passive skills also bugged currently. Neokowloon (talk) 07:02, 16 March 2020 (UTC)

Yes, apparently it wasn't possible to override default parameters if the template is based on another template. I thought we did it like that with {{item table}}, but you should go directly to the module instead. Oh well, at least it isn't super urgent to reduce the stat text in Hungry Loop. --Illviljan (talk) 17:42, 16 March 2020 (UTC)
