Maven's Invitation: The Atlas is a quest item and part of The Maven quest. There are four variants of this item.

Mechanics

The first Maven's Invitation will drop after killing 3 Tier 6+ bosses while the Maven is witnessing the map. It can be used on the map device to open a portal to Maven's Crucible, where you must defeat all the witnessed bosses in the arena. After successfully completing the Invitation, the process repeats with 4 Tier 8+ bosses required, then 5 Tier 10+ bosses, then 6 Tier 12+ bosses.

Once a quest invitation is successfully completed, it will no longer drop in the current league. After the 6-boss Invitation, the next Maven's Invitation will require 10 Tier 14+ bosses. This variant of the Maven's Invitation is repeatable and the item itself is not obtained normally; the Invitation can be entered by speaking to Commander Kirac once you have witnessed 10 bosses.

This item has a different icon based on the quest progress.
