The number of flask charges consumed can be reduced with generic #% reduced Flask Charges used modifiers at breakpoints of 34%, 67%, and 100%. The modifier that can be rolled on flasks does not contribute to this.
Ruthless mode
Grant bonuses to Non-Channelling Skills you use by consuming 3 Charges from a Flask of each of the following types, if possible:
If Bismuth Flask Charges are consumed, Penetrate 15% Elemental Resistances
If Diamond Flask Charges are consumed, 100% increased Critical Strike Chance
If Amethyst Flask Charges are consumed, 15% of Physical Damage as Extra Chaos Damage
Master Distiller in Ruthless mode provides lower bonuses to skills from consuming certain flask charges.
