Unique Relics are destroyed upon completing or failing a run.
This item comes with three variants, which grant Experience, Relics, or Unique Items upon defeating the Herald of the Scourge.
Strategies
Prioritize Relics and Boons that increase the amount of Aureus gained, and avoid using the Merchant or Benevolent Fountains unless absolutely necessary. These encounters can be skipped and the player can immediately enter the next room.
Try to obtain the Minor Boon "Gold Trophy" as soon as possible. This boon multiplies your Aureus count by 10% on each room completion.
Item acquisition
The First Crest has restrictions on where or how it can drop. It cannot be chanced.
