Orb of Horizons

Orb of Horizons is a currency item that can be used to reforge a map into another map of the same tier.

Spending

This orb will transform a map item into another map item of the same tier. Any rarity (except unique) and quality the map had will be retained, but its base item type and explicit modifiers (in the case of magic or higher rarity) will be rerolled. An Orb of Horizons doesn't obey the player's Atlas of Worlds rules, which means that the resulting map may not be unlocked yet. When rerolling a shaped map the result will also be a shaped map.

Rerolling a tier 16 Elder Map will reroll it between the maps of its original tier, before the Elder's OrbElder's OrbUpgrades any map on the Atlas to Tier 16Right click this item then left click on a map on the Atlas to upgrade it to tier 16. was used. For instance, an Elder Park Map will be rerolled to an Elder version of another tier 13 map.

Acquisition

Orbs of Horizons could be originally obtained from a Harbingers in the Harbinger league. In the Bestiary league they could be obtained through Beastcrafting. In Delve league they can be dropped from Shaper's strongholds, or from Harbinger nodes within the Azurite Mine. They can also be obtained by combining a full stack of Horizon ShardsHorizon ShardStack Size: 20A stack of 20 shards becomes an Orb of Horizons..
