Instant

Instant casting means that there is no delay between the key press and the execution of the ability. Guards, movement skills and Warcries with the Battle Cry passive skill are a few examples of instant skills.

Instant skills can be used in the middle of executing a non-instant skill, or while moving. This still requires you to pay their cost and they can't be activated while you can't use skills, e.g. when frozen or stunned.
