Conqueror is a notable Ascendancy passive skill for the Champion that causes hits to apply Taunt. It also grants damage reduction if you've Taunted an enemy recently and improves the inherent "less damage dealt" effect against targets other than yourself from enemies Taunted by you.

Mechanics

Taunt is currently bugged and causes enemies to deal 10% more damage instead of 10% less damage to other targets. Conqueror still applies 20% less damage as normal.[1]

Enemies Taunted by you deal 20% less Damage with Hits and Ailments against other targets is multiplicative with the "10% less Damage dealt" value normally granted by taunt, providing 28% less damage dealt to other targets.

Proxies - Totems, traps, mines, and other proxies inherit the 100% chance to Taunt on Hit.

  • Proxies that persist for a duration will also inherit the Enemies Taunted by you deal 20% less Damage effect during the duration of the taunt, allowing the character to benefit from the lessened damage[2] (effectively mitigation), but will not allow the character to benefit from the 10% reduced Damage taken if you've Taunted an Enemy Recently modifier unless the character also taunts directly.
  • Proxies that are immediately destroyed (e.g. traps or mines) will cause the taunt to immediately wear off, so the enemy will not be considered taunted apart from the moment it is hit.
