This is a Support Gem. It does not grant a bonus to your character, but to skills in sockets connected to it. Place into an item socket connected to a socket containing the Active Skill Gem you wish to augment. Right click to remove from a socket.

Bloodthirst Support is a support gem that grants more damage to attacks made with the supported skill. It also grants added flat physical damage to weapon's that are used with the supported skill while on low life.

Skill Functions and Interactions

Bloodthirst's more damage modifier is active unconditionally, weather the character is on low life or not.

The flat added physical damage is a conditional modifier, because it is only active while on low life.

Damage Calculations

The total damage depends on the characters maximum life and total flat damage from other sources.

These calculations count both the flat physical damage and the more damage. Therefore they assume the character is on low life and using a weapon.

Add up all flat sources of damage not from the gem = Q

(Total life X .02) = Y

( Q + Y ) = K

( K X More damage) = V

(V / Q) = final answer.

  • Example: Level 20 gem. A player with above average life has 6,000 maximum life. All other sources of average flat physical damage is 300.
    • (6,000 X .02) = 120 Flat added physical weapon damage.
    • (300 + 120) = 420
    • (420 x 1.19) = 500
    • (500 / 300) = 1.66
  • In this example the final damage modifier is 1.66 times the damage. In other words 66% more damage.
