Accuracy is a rating that measures a character's chance to hit with melee and ranged weapons.

Dexterity grants implicit bonuses to accuracy. Every point of dexterity provides 2 additional accuracy.

Mechanics

Accuracy is weighed against the target's evasion when determining if an attack hits or misses. Chance to hit can never be lower than 5%, nor higher than 95%.

Chance to Hit = Attacker's Accuracy / ( Attacker's Accuracy + (Defender's Evasion / 4) ^ 0.8 )

Spells do not benefit from accuracy since evasion does not aid in avoiding them.

The Keystone passive Resolute Technique will raise the chance to hit to 100%, ignoring all accuracy and evasion stats of the attacker and defender respectively, at the cost of reducing the attacker's global critical chance to 0%. The Unwavering Stance keystone does the same, in reverse; all attacks against the subject will hit regardless of accuracy.

Passives

There are passive skill nodes that grant additional accuracy or a combination of bonuses including accuracy.

Accuracy while Dual Wielding

These passives increase accuracy rating by a percentage while dual wielding. The type of weapon does not matter as long as a weapon is held in each hand.

These passives increase accuracy rating by a percentage while using one-handed melee weapons.
