Currently the template has master level first, then player level. The examples and docs follow the same order. All of the master pages follow the opposite order. One of these needs to change. It would likely lead to less confusion to change the behavior and documentation of the template rather than every value on the pages. If there are no objections I will do this later this week when I have time if nobody decides to do it earlier. Meem1029 (talk) 07:59, 26 August 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for noticing that - I updated the template and examples. Btw, one thing the template is still missing are 1h/2h weapon types for haku. --OmegaK2 (talk) 14:02, 26 August 2014 (UTC)
Order and Layout
The armour types for Haku appear in the order: Helmet, BodyArmour, Gloves, Boots, Shield. Most mods can be crafted on everything, but for the few which can't that order makes little sense. For example flat def allows only craft tier 3 on Gloves/Boots, T2-3 on Helmet and T1-3 on BodyArmour/Shield.

I think having Shield as the last column makes sense and is rather intuitive, but the other four types should either be from "small to big" (Gloves/Boots, Helmet, BodyArmour) or the other way around (BodyArmour, Helmet, Gloves/Boots):

That way we get some sort of progression and the "diagonals" that form with the become meaningful. Similarly, the order for Tora (Boots, Quiver, Belt, Ring, Amulet, Bow, Wand) is weird, but I don't have a clear suggestion for that one yet.
We could also consider not using the yes/no markers for some pages, because at least for Haku it's a flood of green ticks and the mods where the type becomes relevant are so far down in the list that you might need to scroll up again to double check which column was which (maybe even several times). Something like this would work better, I think:

And finally on a side note: Why is the boots parameter "shoes"? --aRTyficial (talk) 19:49, 13 October 2017 (UTC)
- I don't really care how the columns are ordered, as long as the order is consistent. As for your suggestion to remove the yes/no marks: The major advantage of using the yes/no marks is that you can sort the rows by types of equipment. If I want to see at a glance which Haku mods can be applied to Helmets, for example, I can do so easily by sorting by the helmet column. You can't do that if you just list the types equipment the mod can be applied to in a single column. —Vini (t|c) 16:41, 15 October 2017 (UTC)
