Nenet is from a people that currently call themselves the Faridun. They are our rejects. Those we Maraketh left to die in the desert as children for being unworthy or flawed. I do not think ill of Nenet. I do not think of her at all.
I am not cruel, exile. It is simply that scattered groups of pariahs wandering in the desert have no effect on the world. She will not find the home she yearns for among these scoundrels.

Adiyah

The Faridun are a faction and main antagonist of Act 2 of Path of Exile 2. They consist of outcasts and rejects of the Maraketh faction who were left to die in the Plains of Vastiri. The Faridun were first mentioned in the flavour text of the Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Rusted Metamorph Scarab", and the first interactable NPC, Nenet, was introduced in Heist league. It is heavily implied that the Faridun dabble in necromancy.
