Patch notes

These are the official patch notes for version 0.5.2 released by Grinding Gear Games.[1]

  • Improved various monster and player animations
  • Added deep water and allowed players to run through shallow water
  • Fixed crash on dropping some armours
  • Adjusted monster sizes/attack distances/speeds
  • Modified boss mods to scale by level properly
  • Accuracy/Evasion balance changes
  • Blood effects on hit
  • Improved scrollbars
  • Environment mapping
  • Projectiles have proper heights now
  • Fixed tag affinity stuff for item mods
  • Asset preload
  • Fixed lag with area of effect damage
  • Server now reaps crashed instances
  • Fixed problem with particles vanishing sometimes
  • Allowed allocation of skills on passive skills screen
  • Area transitions spawned from tiles correctly
  • Increased safety radius around spawn points
  • The last used / created character is now selected when the character selection screen is shown.
  • Made it possible to clear skills from the Skill Bar
  • Added realm shutdown message
  • Fixed font scaling issue
  • Fixed several calculation problems in damage chain
