Path of Exile: Origins is a comic book based on the lore of Path of Exile. It was written by Edwin McRae and Royal McGraw, and illustrated by Carlos Rodriguez.[1][2] The story is told from the perspective of Victario, centering around the Purity Rebellion and other events leading up to the Cataclysm.

Publication

Path of Exile: Origins was created as a collaboration between Grinding Gear Games and Dynamite Entertainment.[1] Working closely with Grinding Gear Games' Erik Olofsson and Edwin McRae, the four chapter comic book was illustrated by Carlos Rodriguez and written by Royal McGraw. An issue for each chapter was released digitally before the complete volume was published in paperback by Dynamite Entertainment in June 2015.[2]

The issues in digital format are still available to purchase from the official Path of Exile website.[3] Each issue can either be purchased by itself or bundled with cosmetic items that can be used in game.
