: Modifiers to spell damage never apply to damage over time unless there is another modifier that allows it to apply. For example, Cold Snap has . Righteous Fire doesn't have this. —Vini (t|c) 12:13, 16 April 2023 (UTC)

Spell and DOT

"Spell damage and damage over time are two distinct and mutually exclusive damage sources and do not apply without a modifier that allows one type to scale another.", where is the source for this? If it is true, it literally mean spell that does DOT (e.g. Cold Snap), the DOT are not scale by spell damage modifier. Neokowloon (talk) 06:06, 16 April 2023 (UTC)

Modifiers to spell damage never apply to damage over time unless there is another modifier that allows it to apply. For example, Cold Snap has Modifiers to Spell Damage apply to this Skill's Damage Over Time effect. Righteous Fire doesn't have this. —Vini (t|c) 12:13, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
