Lua error in Module:Item2/core at line 500: The "class_id" parameter is required..
A Regal Orb is a currency item that can be used to upgrade a piece of magic equipment to rare. The current modifiers are all retained and one new random affix is added.
If used on a magic item with only one affix, it will a rare item with only two affixes that would not normally drop. The new affix will be a prefix or a suffix with no relation to the affixes the item already has, so it is possible to add a prefix to an item only with a suffix, creating a rare item with properties also a magic item could have. This can be useful when planning to use Elreon's Can have multiple crafted mods meta-crafting mod.
