Accessing the Map Device
The Map Device can be accessed in Merciless Eternal Laboratory (area connected to Solaris Temple Level 2).
By gaining enough master reputation with Zana, Master Cartographer to reach level 2, the player will also be given a placeable Map Device for the hideout. Unlike the map device in the Eternal Laboratory, this device will also grant a 1% boost to item quantity, based on Zana's level.
Mechanics
In order to activate the device maps, map fragments, Breachstones or Offerings to the GoddessOffering to the GoddessIt is time for the Goddess to give her final verdict.
Your fate rests in her even hands.Travel to the Aspirants' Plaza and spend this item to open the Eternal Labyrinth. need to be placed inside the Map Receptacle. Generally only one item is required, in the case of map fragments however it is required to have a combination of matching fragments to open an area.
It is also possible to place map fragments in addition to one map item in order to receive a bonus to item quantity.
When the Map Device is activated, six portals to the map area are opened, except for Offering to the Goddess, which opens only one portal.
Each portal can only be used once, and will be closed once the player exits the area. This means players can only exit the area with six inventories of items. Opening a new portal inside the map will only move the entrance point to that position, instead of creating a brand new portal.
