Instruments of Zeal
Ascendancy Notable Passive Skill
+4 to Maximum Fanatic Charges
Gain 1 Fanatic Charge every second if you've Attacked in the past second
Gain Fanaticism for 4 seconds on reaching Maximum Fanatic Charges
Lose all Fanatic Charges on reaching Maximum Fanatic Charges [1]

Instruments of Zeal is a notable Ascendancy passive skill for the Inquisitor.

Mechanics

  • +4 to Maximum Fanatic Charges
    • Increases this charge default cap of 0 to 4.
  • Gain 1 Fanatic Charge every second if you've Attacked in the past second
    • Grants you one charge of Fanatic Charge when attacking. This has a delay of one second.
    • It does not require an attack to hit an enemy.
  • Gain Fanaticism for 4 seconds on reaching Maximum Fanatic Charges
    • Grants Fanaticism at maximum Fanatic Charges granting a powerful buff to spells during 4 seconds:
      • 75% more Cast Speed
      • 75% Reduced Cost
      • 75% increased Area of Effect
    • Does not disable the generation of Fanatic Charges. Attacking continuously will keep generating charges even with Fanaticism still affecting your character.
  • Lose all Fanatic Charges on reaching Maximum Fanatic Charges
    • Reaching maximum Fanatic Charges (and therefore, gaining Fanaticism) makes you lose all charges.

Fanaticism is not affected by x% increased Skill Effect Duration because it is not a skill.
