Champion
Champion that which you love. He who fights for nothing dies for nothing.

Champion is an Ascendancy class for Duelists that will be added in the Ascendancy expansion.

Overview

The Champion is a defensive/support class that can act as a tank by taunting enemies or improving his fortify buff. He can also cast an aura that increases the damage of him and his allies. His tree grants him increased armour and evasion rating as well.

Skills

Previews show its notable passive skills as:

Skill Modifiers Prerequisite
Inspirational
  • You and nearby Allies deal 30% increased Damage
  • You and nearby Allies have 5% increased Movement Speed
First to Strike, Last to Fall
  • 30% increased Damage when not on Low Life
  • 100% increased Armour and Evasion Rating when on Low Life
  • Status Ailments are removed when you reach Low Life
Unstoppable Hero
  • 10% increased Attack Speed while you have Fortify
  • 8% increased Movement Speed while you have Fortify
  • 10% increased effect of Fortify on you
Fortitude
  • You have Fortify
Unstoppable Hero
Conqueror
  • 25% chance to Taunt on Hit
  • 6% reduced Damage Taken if you killed a Taunted Enemy in the past 4 seconds
Worthy Foe
  • Enemies you Taunt have a 20% increased chance to be Stunned
  • Enemies you Taunt take 15% increased Damage

Regarding the "Inspirational" skill: It does not stack with nearby party members who also have this skill.
