Altar of Sacrifice is a bench that could be found in Sacrificial Chamber (level 1 room), Hall of Offerings (level 2) or Apex of Ascension (level 3), that provides the player with one of two different functions:
- Sacrifice a unique item for another random unique item (of the same item class if the room was level 3: Apex of Ascension), including items not ordinarily obtainable (level 2 and 3 rooms only).
- At Apex of Ascension only: transforms unique items found exclusively in the Temple of Atzoatl by sacrificing specific unique items with the matching Vial to upgrade it.
