Adder's Touch
Adder's Touch is a notable passive skill grants increased critical strike multiplier with daggers. In addition, critical strikes with daggers inflict poison.
Poison damage caused by this keystone deals chaos damage equal to 10% of the damage done by the hit per second, for 2 seconds. [1]
Buff/Debuff duration passives and skill duration passives don't work with Adder's Touch. The poison in this case is treated as a status effect like burning, so is not affected.[2]
Each hit dealt by Adder's touch replaces all previous instances of Adder's Touch. Furthermore, it also replaces the poison created by poison arrow.[3]
The damage over time is applied every frame (not once every second, for example). Thus hitting multiple times within one second will still cause poison damage.[4]
Elemental damage and chaos damage from the hit is included in the total damage thus increasing poison damage dealt.[5]
Poison damage from Adder's touch stacks with Viper Strike charges.[6]
Adder's touch effect applies to anything taking critical weapon damage from a dagger. Including things like Lightning Strike projectiles.[7]
Adder's touch poison damage is not affected by "% increased Chaos Damage" from skills and passives.[8]
