Lua error in Module:Item2/core at line 546: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value). Orb of Binding is a currency item that can be used to to upgrade a normal item to a rare item with up to four linked sockets. If used on an item with more than four sockets, those extra sockets will be lost.
It can be used on items without sockets, effectively functioning the same way as an

Acquisition
Orbs of Binding don't drop but are obtained by combining a full stack of 
Binding ShardsBinding ShardStack Size: 20A stack of 20 shards becomes an Orb of Binding.
. Binding Shards could only drop from Harbingers, which were exclusive to the Harbinger league. They are currently only obtainable through Zana's map device, the Treasury Room in the Temple of Atzoatl, or from Harbinger nodes within the Azurite Mine.
