::I should use the wording "skill with AOE". BTW all buff and debuff are coded as aura internally. Vaal Cold Snap did not have aura gem tag, but may be it can be scale with aura mods before 3.10 mid-league nerf. Vaal Cold Snap
The wording of the gem is "This also creates a chilling area around you which expands and deals cold damage over time to surrounding enemies in addition to chilling them." instead of Chilled ground in the non-vaal variant. Probably it is not a "Chilled ground" effect, but a chilling aura? (Same as Chilling Presence). Neokowloon (talk) 05:33, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
