Mechanics

Attacks using Trypanon are always critical strikes. This is not the same as having 100% critical strike chance, as a second accuracy roll is not needed to confirm a critical strike.

Modifiers to critical strike chance, such as reduced Critical Strike Chance and less Critical Strike Chance, do not affect Trypanon's guaranteed critical strike. In particular, when is equipped, all attacks remain critical strikes.

When the keystone Resolute Technique is allocated, its effect overrides Trypanon's modifier and the player cannot deal critical strikes.
