Minion Instability is a keystone passive skill.
Damage can be increased by:
- Passives
- Support Gems
- Minion Damage
- Minion Life
- Fire Penetration
- Concentrated Effect
- Chance to Ignite (indirectly)
- Increased Area of Effect (indirectly)
- Elemental Proliferation (indirectly)
- Necromantic Aegis - Any +Damage, +Life or +Fire damage (etc) enchantments will apply to the explosion.
Note that the damage dealt by exploding Minions is not effected by any increases in the player's Fire Damage or Burning (except any given through Necromantic Aegis). Developers stated that this may be changed, but as of now, only your Minions' stats apply..[1]
