Analysis

(I assume analysis is subjective and thus not appropriate on the main page, however I wanted to write this somewhere and here seemed good)

Dialogue Analysis:

"The Lords have unknowing followers among your kind." - on Breach

very interesting, but im not aware of any other mention of this idea.

"The Clayshaper once took refuge here... for a time." - on abyss

very rare clayshaper lore. actual connection or just name-dropping for the sake of it?

"Often, it is our own creations that destroy us in the end." - on abyss

is this a reference to the clayshaper's golems turning on her? i dont think clayshaper ever met an unfortunate demise, did she? i thought the lightless were "destoyed" as in lost, but i dont see what they were creating. maybe they were the created?

"You are feeding it exactly what it desires..." - on legion what is "it"? a malevolent force keeping the legionaires fighting? is something leeching off of their energies?

"I was here before gods, before religion. Trapped. Watching. Curious." - on shrines despite the obvious connection between shrines and gods, shrines have never really shown up in shrine lore. could this be a lead on shrines having more importance than we think? dont forget about the easter egg darkshrine effects.

"The torturer should pray his search for truth never bears fruit..." - on metamorph i dunno, kinda reminds me of zerphi, although i might be reading too far into it. also yugul. man, there are a lot of characters who hurt others for their own intellectual gain. zerphi, yugul, tane, doryani, doryani, atziri, just to name a few. hmmm. probably maligaro too.

"You would never touch another essence if you knew..." - essence honestly feels like a red herring, a throwaway line to make us go hmmmm but its nothing interesting. essences are so removed from lore.

They come from beyond the sight of the Lake. They are a mystery even to me. - on expedition. very very interesting. is the lake only over wraeclast? why? the lake predates everything. could the lake be the catalyst for the weird stuff on wraeclast, or could the catalyst (whatever is so special about wraeclast, if there is any that makes it this way) have also caused the lake, being an even deeper root cause?

She wanders still, forever fleeing, forever burdened by guilt. - scourge this is referencing the last to die, right

Qotra meddles with forces she does not understand, and can never master. Fools seek to make the power of this Lake their own. They will crack the world.

there seems to be unresolved lore with the higher heist ring, especially with replicas. theres a lot of potential. real intersting for kalandra to bring up the head researcher, and not even talk about, ynow, the heisting, but instead the people and their ambitions.
