Other stats like weapon-specific stats, area damage, projectile damage, spell damage, etc. are unaffected.
Conditional stats that are part of the modifier are unchanged. For example, {{c|mod|#% increased Physical Damage with Axes}} is transformed into {{c|mod|#% increased Fire Damage with Axes}}.

On a technical level, Ngamahu, Flame's Advance, check the passive for these compatible stats then applies a damage decrease for the original damage type and adds an increase to fire damage for the same value to that passive. In cases where a passive is within the radius of two jewels (possible near the Scion starting area), it gets double the increased fire damage and decreased damage of the original value (Ex. [[Path of the Warrior]] would go from granting 16% increased physical damage to granting 32% increased fire damage and 16% decreased physical damage).
Other conditions or generic modifiers are not affected by this stat. For example, {{c|mod|#% increased Spell Damage]} will ''not'' be transformed into {[c|mod|#% increased Fire Damage}}..

On a technical level, this stat works by adding an inverse modifier (increased/reduced) to set the original damage type to 0, and a like modifier with damage type as fire.

In cases where a passive is within the radius of two or more jewels, the transformation stats stack additively. For example, {{psl|Path of the Warrior}} near the [[Scion]] starting area grants {{c|mod|16% increased Physical Damage}} will instead grant {{c|mod|32% increased Fire Damage}} and {{c|mod|16% reduced Physical Damage}} when affected by two jewels.

Ngamahu, Flame's Advance
Ascendancy Notable Passive Skill
Non-Unique Jewels cause Increases and Reductions to other Damage Types in a Large Radius to be Transformed to apply to Fire Damage
Non-Unique Jewels cause Small and Notable Passive Skills in a Large Radius to
also grant +3 to Strength [1]

Ngamahu, Flame's Advance is a notable Ascendancy passive skill for the Chieftain. It causes your socketed non-unique jewels to convert all sources of increased and decreased damage nodes in a large radius into sources of fire damage and makes all small and notable passives in radius give additional strength.

Mechanics

"Increases and Reductions to other Damage Types" refers to variations of the following modifier types:[1]

  • x% increased Physical damage
  • x% increased Cold damage
  • x% increased Lightning damage
  • x% increased Chaos damage

Conditional stats that are part of the modifier are unchanged. For example, #% increased Physical Damage with Axes is transformed into #% increased Fire Damage with Axes.

Other conditions or generic modifiers are not affected by this stat. For example, #% increased Spell Damage]} will not be transformed into {[c..

On a technical level, this stat works by adding an inverse modifier (increased/reduced) to set the original damage type to 0, and a like modifier with damage type as fire.

In cases where a passive is within the radius of two or more jewels, the transformation stats stack additively. For example, Path of the Warrior near the Scion starting area grants 16% increased Physical Damage will instead grant 32% increased Fire Damage and 16% reduced Physical Damage when affected by two jewels.
