Hi! I saw you added some information from a Weekly Insider Newsletter to the History of Wraeclast page. First, I'd like to say thank you: it's good to see that there are other people who care about keeping the lore pages up-to-date! However, I've been trying to use only sources accessible through ordinary gameplay rather than from GGG's internal documents or unused text in the game's data files, because I know game companies like to change things (sometimes drastically) before it makes it into the finished game. Something that was mentioned in an Insider Newsletter might change two or three times a week as they work on a unique based on that lore; something that's in NPC dialogue in the game will only change once they can afford to re-record all the voice-actor's lines (which obviously does happen, but is much rarer). Also, we can keep on top of stuff that changes in the game's files by comparing the contents of each new version; we can't keep track of changes to GGG's internal lore documents.

I'm going to revert your changes, but I hope that won't discourage you from making further updates in future!

As long as the source is from GGG and it doesn't contradict any later updates I don't see any reason to remove that information. —Vini ^(t|c) 12:06, 10 October 2013 (UTC)
