Duplicate uploads

No worries, I'll get working on removing those tonight. The whole file upload system probably needs a rework though, as it isn't working as well as it could or should be. Iamacyborg (talk) 08:47, 5 February 2013 (UTC)

It's ok now that I am aware of the pool subdomain, but I was confused there for a moment, I wondered why you didn't have anything at all on your talk page haha — Malice (talk) 08:57, 5 February 2013 (UTC)
Hah yeah it's an odd system that possibly needs to be reworked. I've given you admin rights on pool. Iamacyborg (talk) 14:58, 6 February 2013 (UTC)

Community Portal

Ah, can you not use the normal Community Portal discussion page? I'll sort it out right away if you can't post there. Iamacyborg (talk) 20:56, 7 February 2013 (UTC)

Yeah I can't edit it, and I'm assuming most other users can't either. It is protected. — Malice (talk) 20:59, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
How about now? Iamacyborg (talk) 21:01, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
Ok, I can edit Path_of_Exile_Wiki_talk:Community_portal, but not [[1]]. That should do. — Malice (talk) 21:05, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
Yep, that's working as intended now. Trying to keep the main page clean so it can act as a list of projects that need to be worked on, that admins can edit. With discussion about new projects happening on the discussion page. Iamacyborg (talk) 21:08, 7 February 2013 (UTC)

Gameplay Category

It makes sense to have Category:Game mechanics, but do you foresee any need for Category:Gameplay? The purpose of it seems unclear and redundant to me, but perhaps you had something in mind. Really nice work on the wiki by the way. —Vinifera7 (talk) 12:05, 8 February 2013 (UTC)

You're probably right. I didn't think about it very hard at the time, I just needed to choose somewhere to put Category:Game mechanics, and so there it went. My thought process was that there are pages under Category:Path of Exile that are not a part of gameplay (such as patch notes), but if you don't think such a distinction needs to be made, I have no objection to removing the gameplay category. — Malice (talk) 03:17, 9 February 2013 (UTC)

CSS

I've given you admin rights as requested. There's no way to add fonts currently and I don't think hosting outside this domain would be a good idea, will see what I can do to get things moving on that front. Iamacyborg (talk) 13:57, 10 February 2013 (UTC)

I knew what you meant, and I completely agree, it would be a really nice touch. Iamacyborg (talk) 14:23, 10 February 2013 (UTC)

Item Template

Your Template:Hover is pretty awesome. I can easily do that with some HTML and CSS unfortunately my Wiki skills are quite limited. I've been wracking my brains for months trying to figure out how to create something like your template. I see above ^ in the CSS section that there's no way to add fonts. That's a shame because I have Fontin SmallCaps installed on my computer and the Unique_Swords Page looks pretty damn cool in Fontin, everything looks cool actually. Although, I wonder what it looks like to people without Fontin installed considering I have the font set at 120%.. I would suggest adding Fontin SmallCaps to the font-family if possible. Other than that.. it looks great! Don't forget about Chaos Damage, I'm sure there will be weapons in the future that deal straight Chaos Damage. Also, some items, such as Queen's Decree, have modified Required Attributes. Does the Template:HoverRequires have the function to change the color of the value to #88F?--FaceLicker (talk) 16:50, 11 February 2013 (UTC)

Hey, Malice, if you wouldn't mind would you add a line to the hover template for cosmetic mods? Cosmods have the same text color as currency I believe. This would be great for displaying 'has golden radiance' on Demigod's Triumph and future items with cosmods.--FaceLicker (talk) 23:53, 28 February 2013 (UTC)

External links

Yep, just changed the pseudo classes, trying to work out the image, I hate base64 encoding stuff. If you've got any idea on how to get the image back to how it was, would appreciate the help! Iamacyborg (talk) 19:38, 11 February 2013 (UTC)

Skill Gem Images

Where did you get the nice high-res skill gem images? I uploaded higher-res images for almost every item in the game, but the skill gem images you uploaded are almost twice the resolution of everything I uploaded. —Vinifera7 (talk) 04:01, 13 February 2013 (UTC)

Pulled them straight out of the .ggpk file — Malice (talk) 04:38, 13 February 2013 (UTC)

Support Gem ID template -> css

Would you mind adding the CSS in the Support Gem ID Template into the global CSS file? I think I've nailed down the colours and style, so it shouldn't need changing again. There's some dummy style targets in the template that can be removed too. :) --Nightblade (talk) 10:50, 14 February 2013 (UTC)

No problem, but what do you mean by dummy style targets? — Malice (talk) 12:25, 14 February 2013 (UTC)

Global Usage Extension

Hey, just heard from devs that they're working on the extension right now, there should be a deploy tomorrow, but I'll confirm at the time. Iamacyborg (talk) 22:37, 6 March 2013 (UTC)

Hey, the extension was deployed to the site yesterday. Iamacyborg (talk) 11:57, 8 March 2013 (UTC)
