Appearance
It is unclear that where, when and with what probability will this boss appear.
"Stygian Spire is a boss that can appear in Abyss ecounters." - One may interpret this sentence (incorretly?) as "Stygian Spire can appear in any Abyss encounter". (How much is the probability, in case of a "plain" Abyss encounter (no Depth, no 4th pit).) [By the way, "ecounters" has a typo.]
"It has a chance to spawn on the 4th hole of an Abyss." - This sentence suggests that (probably) if the encounter has at most 3 holes, then the probability (Stygian Spire to appear) is zero. Is that true?
"Gilded Abyss Scarab and Winged Abyss Scarab guarantees an Abyss spawns a Stygian Spire if it doesn't lead to an Abyssal Depths." - One may interpret this (incorrectly?) as: "in Abyssal Depths, Stygian Spire (already) has 100% chance to appear, so there is no need to increase the chance (via scarabs, for example)".
"It always drops a Stygian Vise". And, a few sentences later: "In the Azurite Mine the boss drops Hollow Fossil instead." - So, the first sentence is false? (Or, te second is false? (Or both?))

- quote 1: the interpretation is correct. the probability is unknown. also, if there is a problem you can easily solve, like "ecounters" typo, you should fix it yourself instead of bringing it up on the talk page. quote 2: not sure. quote 3: you might have misphrased this; stygian spires do not appear in abyssal depths. quote 4: i think the wording is clear. the stygian spire normally drops stygian vise, but the azurite variation is an exception as it drops a hollow fossil. i would suggest that's its unproductive to bring up issues on the talk page without proposing solutions. if you have any mechanics-related questions, they would be better asked elsewhere, like on the discord.Bloonpauper (talk) 01:37, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
