Aside from bad investments, one possible use I'm wondering for this is that there are points you spend along the way mainly to get to better abilities rather than for their own worth.
For example: after I get Lord of the Dead and Minion Damage, going left requires buying +10 IQ and +10 ST to get to the next Minion Damage and Enduring Bond beyond it.
Once you actually have those, if you don't actually need ST or IQ...
I take it you can refund those, but still keep the abilities they cleared the path to? Tycio (talk) 18:16, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
