Addition of Confusing Language

The note that was added after the formula that reads, "Note that hybrid Evasion/armour passives only apply once for evasion and armour," seems more confusing than helpful. I'm not sure how this helps clarify anything given that the formula itself is right there. Furthermore, this wording assumes that readers would naturally assume that passive bonuses for armour and evasion would be applied more than once for some reason. It's not clear at all why this would be the natural assumption to make, nor is this additional clarification useful given the clearly stated description and formula above it. There's no reason to retain language that increases confusion. My suggestion is to reword the note or remove it. —Vinifera7 (talk) 11:45, 7 February 2013 (UTC)

More was recently added to the page that seems completely incorrect: "In other words, an Evasion/Armour bonus is treated as an Armour bonus only and hence, a 8% Evasion/Armour bonus is equivalent to a 8% Armour bonus." How did you come to this conclusion? It flies in the face of the explanation and the formula that are right there on the same page. Before the information on this page can be considered trustworthy, I think it would help to show some references. —Vinifera7 (talk) 13:44, 9 February 2013 (UTC)

Meaning of "Converted"

It's not entirely clear to me - does "Converted" mean that your evasion rating is counted only as armor and your effective evasion rating becomes 0, or does it mean that, on top of giving you a chance to evade, your evasion rating also adds to the armor? I think this sort of info should be added to the page. ZenonSeth (talk) 10:39, 15 April 2013 (UTC)

"Converts all" means that all Evasion Rating gets removed and calculated into Armour (See Iron Reflexes#Formula). Still, even then you have a minimum chance to evade of 5%, if you don't have Unwavering Stance of course. Since you still had the question after reading the wiki i'll have to edit it. --Goliath (talk) 11:13, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
I don't know if describing it as "removing all evasion rating and adding it to armour" accurately describes what happens. What actually happens is that evasion is converted to armour, which has a special meaning when it comes to how increased evasion and increased armour bonuses are applied. It works the same way as damage type conversion. —Vinifera7 (talk) 11:41, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
Maybe not necessarily say that it adds it to armour, but I wasn't clear on the fact that it did indeed remove all your Evasion rating (bumping you down to 5% as Goliath specified). Thanks for the clarification. ZenonSeth (talk) 11:47, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
Well, i am not saying that Evasion Rating gets "added" to Armour. I'm not accurately describing what's happening but it should be understandable . I agree that the sentence on the Iron Reflexes article needs to be reworded though. Maybe you know a better way to say it, it takes a while for me --Goliath (talk) 11:59, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
I just read the page for the first time. It's all perfectly clear to me. Then again, i have been playing for a year and a half.--FaceLicker (talk) 12:41, 15 April 2013 (UTC)

Summary

If "% Increased Armour mods are applied to base Armour and base Evasion." is true then the whole article is wrong. --Goliath (talk) 17:43, 18 April 2013 (UTC)

Uh, no. It's right there in the formula. —Vinifera7 (talk) 17:53, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
Ops, i screwed up and confused Armour with Evasion... sorry --Goliath (talk) 18:04, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
