To do

  • Find the missing deal on 2013-09-30.
  • Link to all the MTX stubs (use Category:Microtransaction_features).
  • Update all the % Discounts to have 2 decimal places of accuracy.
  • Categorize the page.
  • Categorize helmet MTXs to distinguish what cannot be stacked.
  • Somehow describe multi-mtx packs so they can still be sanely sorted (perhaps using data-sort-value and multiple entries).

Daily Deals History

Is it necessary to have a complete list of every single daily deal ever made? Is there any way we can compress the information into something that readers might be able to take advantage of? TheMipchunk (talk) 09:37, 29 July 2015 (UTC)

Structure of the page feels terrible tbh

I assume that a sizeable chunk of people visiting this page are curious about what's on sale today. An example being people at work where the official website might have been banned. I struggle to think who would be interested in a history of every daily deal ever from the oldest to the most recent. I love how much information is available on this page, but: A) I think it does a poor job of highlighting the most sought information, B) I think it's burdened with too much out-dated information (are events from 2013 really "news"?), and, C) is so large people might be driven away by the sheer amount of information.

I'm going to experiment with a few ideas for alternative layouts.

I'd really love it if a few people would offer their opinion. :) —sarno12445 TALK 15:45, 22 November 2016 (UTC)

When people link to this page it's often to show the frequency of sales for certain mtxes (Stash tab sales mainly). So it has it's merits, although the history order could be reversed so it shows the latest year first. The "news" could indeed be removed. I think having the "Daily deal" show up at the top needs to be automatized somehow though or it'll be outdated often I fear. If it's not possibly to get it directly from the website we could make a table template that creates a smw property if the template inputs matches the current date. --Illviljan (talk) 17:02, 22 November 2016 (UTC)

Start time of Daily Deals

The page shows that the start time is 21:00 New Zealand Standard Time. This post from June 2017 indicates that the start time is 21:00 Pacific Time. Has this changed, as this time is not then 21:00 in New Zealand? New Zealand uses daylight savings time, so how does this affect the start time? Sabrewolfy (talk) 20:51, 23 January 2018 (UTC)
