Smothering Mist is a debuff that is applied during a Suppressive Ritual which lowers health regeneration and slows.

This debuff is applied by the Ritual altar and cannot be removed as long as the player remains in the ritual arena, much like a ground effect. It can stack up to ten times.

Player can counter parts of this debuff by using skills or flasks that grant additional movement speed.
