The "crafting table" as it is found in the labyrinth.

Each time the player completes the Lord's Labyrinth, he may imbue one piece of his equipment with a random enchantment. This process overwrites previous enchantments. Completing the Labyrinth in higher difficulty levels allows the player to enchant a wider range of item types. In Normal difficulty, only gloves can be enchanted. In cruel, both gloves and boots can be enchanted and in Merciless helmets, gloves and boots can be enchanted. Each difficulty, higher versions of the enchantments from the previous difficulty beccome available.

It is not clear if enchantments replace other implicit modifiers, or if they can coexist. It is also not known if corrupted items can be enchanted. It has been confirmed that any rarity of item can be enchanted, even unique items.

Items

  • Gloves can be enchanted with effects that trigger during combat, ranging from calling down a meteor to throwing knives that bounce around between enemies. These effects have short cooldowns. The effects revealed so far are: Word of Tempest, Word of Inferno and Word of War.
  • Boots can have enchantments with effects that conditionally benefit you in combat. For example, increasing his chance to dodge for a time when he is critically struck.
  • Helmets can be to enchanted with effects that benefit a specific skill. There are many of these, so rolling the right skill for a specific build can be challenging.
