I had a rummage in the history and found the original poster ([[User:Phlexonance]]'s) version [https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/index.php?title=Diablo_Player%27s_Guide_to_Path_of_Exile&oldid=4365 here] and it was pretty interesting. It gives a good idea into the intended purpose and scope of the guide. It's quite short but it gets across a lot of good info. It definitely has different emphasis to the current version, which I agree with and would like to work on as a D3 player prior to coming to POE. A Series of Edits

Active Skills

  • The link from 'attack skills' was inaccurately linked to Melee Skills instead of Attack.
  • Expanded 'spells do not' to 'spells, traps, totems, and mines do not'.
  • Clarified that the gems had to be socketed in equipped items.
  • Removed a couple erroneous hyphens.
  • Specified that the gems didn't just have level up requirements, but requirements to just plain use them as well.
  • (unnecessarily replaced 80+ skill gems with 91, replaced ~50 support gems with 65)
  • Swapped out the Blood Magic (Support Gem) link with the Arrogance SupportArrogance SupportAura, Support

I had a rummage in the history and found the original poster (User:Phlexonance's) version here and it was pretty interesting. It gives a good idea into the intended purpose and scope of the guide. It's quite short but it gets across a lot of good info. It definitely has different emphasis to the current version, which I agree with and would like to work on as a D3 player prior to coming to POE.
