Fractured items have 1-3 fixed mods from the default mod pool.
Crafting
- The fractured mods cannot be removed by any means.
- An Orb of Scouring will turn a rare item magic item if one affix is fixed. Two fixed mods might remain rare if both are prefixes or suffixes [citation needed]. By that logic three fixed mods will remain rare [citation needed].
- An Annulment Orb is able to generate a one explicit affix rare item. Use an Orb of Scouring, then an Regal Orb for +1 affix and then remove the added affix with an Annulment Orb.
- Fractured items can not be chanced to a unique with a Chancing Orb.
- Essences can be used. This functionality is/was broken at Synthesis league start.
- Fossils can be used. This functionality is/was broken at Synthesis league start.
