Flying is the act of ascending the ground.
Mechanics
Flying entities can move over small rocks and other places where minions, characters and monsters can't. [1]
Flying entities are unaffected by all ground effects. [2]
Flying entities do not block the path of minions, characters and enemy monsters. [3]

Corrupted Skullbearers cast Summon Raging Spirit
Projectiles
Projectiles can move over the same terrain as flying monsters, but are not considered flying monsters.
