Empowering Howl is a warcry-like skill that only cast by Xoph's Favoured. This buff can only be applies to the player character when a Xoph's Favoured is raised as an allies spectre. The buff add physical damage as extra fire damage.

At max. skill level, which requires monster lv.68 or above, the extra fire damage is 80% of the physical damage, according to the datamine data.

However, the spectre version of Xoph's Favoured use a weaker version of the skill, which has another internal id: EmpoweringHowlSpectre. The extra fire damage is 20% of the physical damage from this variant of buff.
