Oils are a new item type that was added to the game in the Blight league. They drop from that leagues eponymous Blight encounters and can be used to modify items.

Usage

Oils can be applied either to rings, amulets, maps or the Blight league specific unique items.

Rings

An oil applied to a ring will add an enchantment that makes the Blight league defensive towers more powerful.

Amulets

An oil applied to an amulet will add an enchantment that allocates a passive keystone skill. The skill is automatically added to the character as soon as the amulet is equipped. It isn't necessary to spend a passive skill point on it. The skill that is enchanted is selected based on the oils used, there is no randomness involved.

Blight uniques

League specific Uniques that aren't rings or amulets can also be oiled. They gain the same passive skills that those oils would apply to an amulet (??? verify after league start)
