Lightning Thorns is a monster only buff spell which deals reflected damage to any attacker who hits the buffed target. It is similar in effect to 
Tempest Shield in that the reflected damage is a set amount and not scaled by the damage of the attack. The attacker does not need to deal lightning damage to have damage reflected.

The Lightning Thorns skill, as cast by the Blackguard Mages, now does lightning damage to ranged as well as melee attackers. It does less damage than before. The casters have to be closer to use it and have a reduced chance to cast it. |
