The wording of this passive means that skills that are granted by items will also benefit from the bonuses. For example, a Hierophant wielding a {{il|Doryani's Fist}} will see an increased Area of Effect on [[Doryani's Touch]].
 
The bonuses of this passive can be considered a free pseudo-support gem, that can also stack with the gems themselves, but without the increased mana multiplier of a gem. The effects of each bonus are equal to:
