How does this part of the template {{#if: {{{version|}}}|{{#set: Has upcoming version={{{version|}}}|}}}} work?--Ruba159753 (talk) 18:33, 2 June 2018 (UTC)

It doesn't. It used to set a SMW property so you could query for the page with that property. We use Cargo tables now instead of SMW so that's just legacy code.--Illviljan (talk) 18:54, 2 June 2018 (UTC)
