Example use of this template:

This template should be placed at the very start of a list-only article, inside a set of noinclude tags. If a reader views the article directly, this template will provide a quick explanation of the article's contents, and optionally a link to a main article discussing the topic of the list. If an editor transcludes this list-only article into a larger article, the explanation will be omitted, and only the list will be included in the larger page.

Template parameters

This template prefers inline formatting of parameters.

Parameter		Description	Type	Status
The subject of the list.	subject	A very quick description of the contents of the list. Do not capitalize the first word of the description unless it is a proper name. Example skill gems that involve AoE mechanics	String	required
A description of the list.	explanation	The description you want to include at the top of the page when a reader views the article directly. Default This is a list of ''(subject)''. Example These skill gems produce effects that involve AoE mechanics.	String	optional
Article with more information.	article	The title of an article that contains more information about the list. A link to this article will be included at the top of the page when a reader views the list-only article directly. Example Skill gems with AoE mechanics	Page name	suggested
