I think that skill is uniquely granted by that staff and not available from any skill gem. That announcement wrote about unobvious descriptions of effects on unique items, and the Ice Storm skill is one of these effects. As NickK_GGG wrote, Icestorm is only available through The Whispering Ice, and there's currently no point of reference for what Icestorm does. Also, GGG has created graphics for and implemented ice, lightning and chaos versions of firestorm, lightning version of incinerate, fire version of lightning strike, cold version of searing bond long ago and never released any as a skill gem, skill gems differ in more than just the element used. - Even if there is a skill that isn't available as a gem, we still need to have a page for it with all this info. The question is just whether it should use the same infobox and how it should be categorised, etc. --Qetuth-(talk) 08:13, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
- What I wrote previously is an old issue. The page contained an empty table for quest rewards, which was quite nonsensical given that the skill was not to be added as a skill gem. I just didn't delete this suggestion. --DarkUnknown (talk) 13:28, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
- Agreed that there must be a page that describes this skill. However, the skill has Intelligence as Attribute, which doesn't make any sense since the skill is granted by an item. This skill has no skill gem, but appears alongside Intelligence skills that all do have skill gems. Therefore, it should not be noted as an Intelligence skill, but rather as "Other" skill only.
