A player casting Abyssal Cry

Warcries are active skills that provide situational benefits to players and are typically aligned with melee characters, because they only affect nearby enemies and allies. Warcry skills naturally taunt enemies within their range to attack the player instead of his allies, allowing one party member to act as a "tank". Warcry skills have greater effect the more enemies are nearby.

Warcries do not have the Spell or Cast gem tags and therefore cannot be supported by support gems such as Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Cast when Damage Taken" or other spell-specific support gems.

All warcry skills share a cooldown of four seconds - no warcry skill can be cast while any others are on cooldown.

Only one warcry effect can be active at once - if a second warcry is cast it will replace the first even if its duration has not expired yet.
