This article needs to say something about short and perm allocation, versus free for all. I assume this pertains to reserving loots. I could not figure out how to create parties with a particular allocation.--Token632112 (talk) 18:07, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

So how does dropped loot work in parties? When an item is dropped, is a unique drop visible for each player dropped? And are they the same item as well? (eg: if a killed mob drops an axe, does each person in the party see the same axe, and is each person able to pick up a copy, or will one person see an axe, another a sword, another a gem, etc?) --Aperture kubi (talk) 18:03, 3 June 2014 (UTC)

When an enemy drops an axe everyone will be able to see it and everyone will be able to pick it up (depending on party allocation settings). Note that there will be only one copy of the axe; so when a player picks it up it's gone for everyone else (now you only get the axe if he's trading it with you). In other words, the loot is not "instanced". --GoliathOffline (talk) 14:26, 4 June 2014 (UTC)
