Template:Passive Richochet is a notable Ascendancy passive skill for the Deadeye. It lets chaining skills chain one extra time and grants chaining projectile more damage, decreasing with each chain.

Projectiles that Pierce have a stored number of remaining chains.[1] Since these chains are not yet used, all Pierced enemies will receive the damage bonus.[2]

Projectiles that cannot chain (notably from Molten Strike) never use their chains. Therefore, all chains remain for the damage bonus.[3]
