It is only obtainable during one of the bandit faction [[quest]]s in [[Act 2]] that requires the character to kill Kraityn: "[[Deal with the Bandits]]", "[[The Bandit Lord Oak]]", or "[[The Bandit Lord Alira]]".
 
When combined with {{il|Alira's Amulet}} and {{il|Oak's Amulet}}, {{il|The Apex}} is formed.
 
If the player side with Kraityn (i.e. not killing Kraityn), it is not required to acquire Kraityn's Amulet. Take the two remaining quest amulets to Kraityn, and Kraityn will give you {{il|The Apex}} and his passive bonus.
